PROJECT LEVEL 4

ROLE OF A STATISTIST:

Statisticians are responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting numerical data. Its results help other professionals make informed decisions, create company policies and understand different aspects of modern life.

The works related to the statistics career and those that caught my attention were three,

1.Data Analytics

  It is used for the discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in data. It also involves applying data patterns for effective decision making.

2.Financial Analyst

The financial analyst is in charge of analyzing and studying the financial news of the company, for this purpose of setting the interest in profitability, liquidity and the risk assumed by the company in the purchase process.

Although I do not study finance, I really like the idea of working in this field.

3. Analytics consultant

An analytical consultant is in charge of carrying out an analysis and study of certain populations and data, his functions are to advise, guide, offer support and support on specific aspects and problems.

My name is Paula Andrea Amortegui Ferrer, I am from Colombia, I have a degree in statistics and also several courses in statistical depth.

I am very interested in the position of Data Analytics & Visualization Instructor - Butler University (Remote) that they are offering, I found the ad on the page of indeed and since I am interested in the position and I know that I can be the right one for the job, I decided to write this letter so that they know a little more about me.

I thought a lot about my motivation letter, because I believe more in discipline than in motivation, but in this case, if there is something that motivates me and it is being able to look back after ten years and thank God and my family for giving me the discipline to get up every day and challenge myself to give a little more of something every day, the more achievements I achieve, the motivation and illusion enters me, remembering how little I knew before and how much I have learned.

without discipline and motivation it is very difficult to give our best version, but thank God I consider them one of my virtues when I decide that I want to improve something.
